Question about trasferring points to my account

Hi!

I plan to make a reservation at AKV in Nov 2016 but I need more points than I have.

Someone is willing to transfer AKV Dec 2015 points to my account (AKV February UY).

Should this work fine? Will I be able to make a reservation combining both my own AKV Feb points and transferred AKV Dec points for November 2016?

I did read a lot and I think it should work! But I just want to be sure before I commit to something I cant undo.

You'll have to call to make the reservation. The points will not show up online.

I know I'll need to do it by phone. But it's the case correct? Can I combine the points into one reservation?

you should be able to combine pts, yes. but keep in mind that any time you are traveling late in your UY (in this case, for your transferred pts), you will have more risks if you have to cancel a few months ahead of time...

Yeah! I understand the risks of traveling late in the UY. Hopefully nothing serious will occur that force us to cancel.
