question about transfering points

We would like to try to reserve a grand villa at HH in the summer of 2006. With banking and borrowing our HH points we will only have enough points to stay 4 nights ( at the 11 month window). We would only need 10 extra points to be able to stay for 5 nights. My question is how would one go about renting points from another member, then having those points deposited in my HH account? I know that I will need to book at the 11 month window if I want any chance at a grand villa. When would be the best time frame for me to start looking for the 10 points I need? We most likely travel sometime between the midddle of June through the middle of July 2006. Any advice that you experts can offer would be great. Changing the travel dates would not be possible, as their are several that would be in school.

From what I am gathering from this site post a message asking to buy points for one year. A transfer of 10 points sounds sort of easy to be able to find someone willing to sell them to you.

Depending on your exact dates, your reservation may be reserved in July/Aug, 2005 so you have plenty of time to try to find a HH owner willing to help with the transfer.

I'd post on the Rent/Trade Board asking for a HH owner to commit the points you'll need (they will have to be points usable in 2006) so they may be transferred by next summer.

You have plenty of lead time to find someone able to help.
