Question about transferability

We are just starting the process of joining DVC. One question - are our points transferable to our family members. Say we want to treat our parents to a stay at Disney, or when our kids are older we want to just send them with the points... Do we need to actually be the people using the points?

NO, you only have to make the actual reservation with your member # and put the reservation under the names of the people who will be going.The confirmation statement you recieve will be in these names not yours, so as far as DVC is concerned whoever comes under that reservation is the member for that stay.
