question about Touring Plans without lightening lane/genie/+ info incorporated

In the past the touring plan the subscription came up with would say things like "get a fast pass for space mountain" then later on "ride space mountain using the fast pass you obtained before" as part of the plan.

Now it says things like " this attraction has lightening lane via genie plus, we will support forecasted return times at a later date"

This seems very unhelpful. Am I missing something?

How do I figure out which order to try for lightening lane attractions in order to have the best plan?

Does anyone have any info on when they will add this feature?

Or do you just keep adding info like lightening lane return times into the app in real time and have them re-optimize the plan?

No idea when that would be added. I don't use TP for park plans so I really don't ever mess with those functions. But I think by them adding that language is their way of saying that the wait for this attraction may fluctuate unexpectedly and they've likely not yet mastered how to effectively migrate this data into the app.

I would recommend that you prioritize your LLs using disney tourist blog recommended order and go from there. Not much has changed with LL priorities other than in Epcot for the addition of Remy back to regular G+ LL and not iLL$ anymore and of course, adding the virtual queue and iLL$ for GoG. LL priorities are pretty much the same every day, it's just a matter of what time they sell out. Any thing you're not interested in doing, just skip.

TP have a blog for each park suggesting which LL you should prioritise, and you can also add LL times and virtual Lane times to the TP and then optimise. We also used BG1 which you can read about in the La Cava section of the TP forum and that was a game changer. We were getting 13 or more LLs everyday and always got BG1. Good luck.

We're in the final stages of testing that functionality for the plans - it should be out in a couple of weeks at the latest. There are no known issues right now.

The big difficulty was in figuring out how to include getting the pre-arrival "Get a Genie+ for Attraction X" steps into the plan, and choosing those efficiently.

I checked the TP suggestions for order of importance for G+ booking and ILLs then noted the order we should book them (ignoring ones we don't want to ride) in the Notes section of our touring plan.

I would highly recommend the Touring Plan Teaches Youtube series. It was really helpful in walking you through some of these overall strategies.
