Housekeeping
Bell Services
Towncar Driver
etc.

Who do I tip and how much should I tip them? For housekeeping in particular, do we just leave the money in the room with a note to them?

Bell services do .75-1.00 per bag.

Housekeepers is up to you. You dont have too but if you receive what you feel is exceptional service then do it the last day and just leave it with a note in the room.

Limo Driver do whatever you would do for a taxi driver.

Bell Services, $1 per bag is typical

Housekeeping, tipping is optional, if you choose too $1 per person per day is typical. I would personally leave it in an envelope marked "For Housekeeping" on the sink daily because your housekeeper may change during the week.

Towncar, I have always felt a $10 tip each way is sufficient.

The going rate for luggage has been $2.00 per bag for some time now.
You absolutely tip the housekeepers $2 per person per day leave the amount daily as the maids change.

If someone has provided excellent service, go ahead and add a little extra to the tip. The extra buck or two won't mean much to most of us, but it may be the difference in making ends meet for that service worker.

Housekeeping should receive daily tips rather than at the end of your stay. This keeps it all from going to the one peron who just happens to be working the day you check out.

Here is the "recommended" tipping guidelines from fodors.com

  • At restaurants, a 15% tip is standard for waiters; up to 20% may be expected at more expensive establishments. The same goes for taxi drivers, bartenders, and hairdressers.

Coat-check operators usually expect $1; bellhops and porters should get $1 per bag; hotel maids in upscale hotels should get about $1 per day of your stay.

A concierge typically receives a tip of $5 to $10, with an additional gratuity for special services or favors.

I remember reading somewhere that WDW concierge staff is prohibited from accepting monetary tips. But that you can give them a gift with a value of less than 50.00 and that's acceptable.

I've already got my mousekeeping envelopes printed all up and ready to go! :D I hope they like the little clip art I put on them.

I enjoy tipping, it's a pleasure to me. So many people work so hard to help make my WDW time magical, I feel like they deserve to be shown how much they're appreciated.

I'm actually looking FORWARD to tipping, how weird am I? LOL
