Okay so this will be our first trip to the world without gratuity being included on the DP. We will be a grand gathering of 8 so I know that an automatic 18% will be added to our bill. Here's our question and I hope I can word this so that it makes sense....
At a normal everyday resturant I always add the tip to the total and put the whole thing on my card. With the dining plan is this possible? I mean, can I charge the tips to our room or do I have to do all tipping with cash? Just seems odd to me that they would bring the receipt with only the tip on it so that I can sign and process. But, I'm sure we'll go thru a few hundred bucks worth of tips that week and I really don't want to worry about having the cash on hand, I'd rather charge it to the room or pay with debit card.
