Question about tipping when you're on DDP

How do you know how much to tip since my understanding of the dining plan is they do not bring you a bill.

Do the menus list prices and you figure out what the tip is based on what you ate? Forgive me if this is a stupid question

They give you a receipt showing the meal and then the credits you might have used. Most times the receipt will even show you how many you have left, so that's nice.

They will give you two receipts, one with the full pricing on it and the second showing no pricing with the number of table services remaining. the first will also show an 18% and 20% suggested tip amount!
