Question about Timing of On-Ride Photos

As long as you stop and get the picture put on your memory maker after each ride, you will have them all! I have like 6 different pictures on test track/dinosaur/splash mountain

For Test Track, I'm 99% sure the photo is taken when your outside on the speed section going around the curve hugging the building.

Is that new, because all of our TT pictures have us in the room where we are zooming out onto the outer track (where the big door opens up just before you hit it). Then again, those photos are pre refurb, we rode it post refurb and I can't remember where the picture was taken then.

Just curious if anyone has ridden Haunted Mansion or BTMRR with the new camera system that they just put in not so long ago. If so, do you know where they take your pictures in those rides?

Oh, are those pictures included with Memory Maker?? I sure wish they would be! I'm much less nervous about riding Haunted Mansion and BTMRR!

Test Track picture location changed after they re-did it last year. Used to be right before the double doors open at the last second to let you outside. It's now about five seconds after you've been outside. You come outside, go down a small hill and level out. A couple seconds after that there is a big camera and flash on the right side of the track. It's before you turn to the right to start the small loop that gets you going in the direction of the main building.

I guess I should of kept reading the thread before asking my question to the PP about whether they changed the location of the camera. Thanks for answering

I would assume so. We too will have the MM package for our upcoming trip and would love for them to be apart of that, hopefully someone who has ridden since they put the cameras in will come on and clarify it for us. FWIW, I think it is a long time coming for them to have photos for both of these rides .

There aren't any photo cameras on either of those rides, only video cameras used to monitor key points along the ride. I'm not sure where those rumors started but as far as I've heard there aren't any cameras for photos on those rides.

Oh, don't worry about it! If we get there (not until November!) and there are pics on those rides, I'll be thrilled. But I won't be disappointed if there aren't either.

Considering they would have to basically rip out a good chunk of the ride shops to put in the photo kiosks. We all know how speedy construction is

Thanks for the info. I thought I read somewhere that those attractions mentioned were down for a short refurb to install the camera a couple of months ago. It could of very well of been the video like Cais mentioned before. I also thought I read that they were converting one of the shops in Liberty Square to include Haunted Mansion merchandise and that is also where you can see your ride photos and then purchase them. But then again, I could most definitely be wrong about all of this and just dreaming it all up in hopes that they do this some day .

I'm so glad to hear this! I always thought that was a really boring place for a photo! We love to pose for the pics and we've talked some on TT where DH looks like he's asleep!
