Question About Tickets

I am going to be taking a solo trip to Walt Disney World in mid/late June. I want to buy a 7 day Park Hopper ticket. I looked on Disney's web site and (after taxes) it would cost $300.07 to have one shipped to me. Is that the same as one would cost if I bought it at the gate, or can I save money by purchasing one online?

Thanks.

I believe I have read that there's no difference in online and in-person price with WDW. (it's different with DLR, which is why the difference stands out in my head)

However, if by chance they *raise* prices between now and then, if you decided to buy at the gate it would be more.

Have you looked at the discount ticket sellers? Undercover Tourist is a well-known one, and if you sign up with mousesavers and get their emailed newsletter, they have a special link in their monthly newsletter that gets you a slightly better price through undercovertourist (which already is discounted from WDW). Their prices show the full price...tax is already included, and there's nothing extra for shiping. On WDW you have to go into your shopping cart to make sure you have the full price with taxes.

I personally would sign up with mousesavers, get the monthly email, get the link, follow the link to undercovertourist and buy the tickets that way, have them shipped to me and take them along. :)

There are a few other discounters, by the way...Maple Leaf tickets is one, I think, and there are a couple more. I don't want you to think I'm a shill for them or anything, it's just the main one that I have personally heard of.

If you buy from Disney, opt for the will call pick up option instead of having it shipped, you will save $4.

You can also try D.W. tickets (dwtickets.com). We used them for our last trip, and they were wonderful.

I haven't compared the other discount places list above but have looked at
the "Official Ticket Center" They had good reviews from the "Unofficial Guide" people. I have loooked at their prices and they are better than Disney's online prices. But remember when your on the Disney page they don't quote you the price with tax, the official ticket center has tax added into their price already.

Have fun :)

The regular annual pass with 10% off coupon is $422, includes free parking, has significant discounts on food, merchandise, and tours, and might be a cheaper option if you can extend your trip or go back to the park within a year.
