Question about tickets for MNSSH and/or MVMC

Can you only buy these from Disney? If so, can you buy them in advance during that year or do you have to wait until you check in?

DH can't decied if he wants to go in Oct or Dec of 2006. Since we will be going during one of those times figured I would find out about the tickets for these events.

I have never heard of anyplace else selling them but ticketmaster and tickemaster's fees are so high....
If you know you want to go buy in advance, some dates do sell out.

We have been able to purchase tickets for both events using ebay and ended up paying about half price. You just have to be flexible on what date you want to go.

You can order them directly from Disney (no need to pay Ticketmaster fees)before you arrive (good plan if you know you definitely want to go because some dates do sell out). Tickets don't usually go on sale until a few months ahead of time, but if you keep up with these boards or some of the other Disney sites (www.allearsnet.com is a good one) it is usually posted when tickets become available.

You can buy them when they go onsale (last year it was May 1) either online at the Disney website or through Disney on the phone.

Some nights do sell out like for MNSSHP Fridays and Halloween sell out and for MVMCP Fridays and the last night sell out.

You do not have to wait till you check in. If you know what night, call and order them!

I'll keep my eyes open for when Disney puts up the dates for these two events next year. Hopefully by then DH will have made up his mind when he wants to go.

That's sad that some people would just buy up tickets from Disney for that date cause more then likely they know that date will sell out. Just so they can sell the tickets on Ebay and make a HUGE profit. Very sad!!
