Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. We are going to Disney at the end of July for 1 Week. My daughter will be there from Friday to Tuesday. Then my niece is coming from Wednesday to Sunday. Does that work ok with magic bands? Staying at art of animation. I assume that I would have to buy each girl a 4 day ticket. Any thoughts or help would be great.

Also about to go in in for acl surgery in a few minutes so pray for me.

Thanks a lot!

Prayers for successful surgery and uneventful recovery!

Yes, each girl will need her own ticket. If both girls are listed on the reservation (which they should be) you'll receive MB for each of them. If only one of them is listed due to capacity of the room, then you'll need input from others on this board or on the Disney Resorts board for how to handle the switch.

As far as MB goes for your niece, she can just use her ticket for park admission and FP, or you can buy her a MB from the Disney Store online now or at WDW once you arrive. If she's not on the room reservation, her MB will not work to open the door to your room.

This is a great scenario for a really good travel agency that specializes in disney to help you sort out the best price and way to book it.. (dreams unlimited travel is excellent and directly connected to this forum and why it's here and free). I would suggest, especially with your medical needs right now to let them do what they do best as it will not cost you more than booking yourself and they are very well known for getting incredible prices even if discounts come out closer to get you some money back..

the short of it is, everyone on a reservation needs exactly the same package options. rarely are tickets actually discounted and many times a room only + tickets is the same price, except in our case because it's a room only reservation you do not need tickets for everyone to match so you may save money. If your doing the meal plan, that also needs to match and you can do a room + meal plan package where everyone matches and still get tickets separate.. You just need to do the math on which way is the most cost effective... You also have the option to add someone to the room after you arrive and then they don't need to match but with meal plan, that will cause issues so don't do this if your getting a meal plan.

Magic bands are nothing to worry about. figure out the room, tickets and what your doing about meals and the cheapest way that works for you out.. the bands will just work.
