Question about the target 10% gift card deal

i purchased numerous gift cards using my discover card on that 10% off day. I just looked at my discover statement and see now that I have a bunch of individual charges in amounts of $9, $45, and $90 to target. I think they charged me since it was limit of one card? Did others get charged back from that promo?

I also purchased multiple Target GCs during the BF sale using my Discover card. Just checked my statement and I didn't see those amounts, but I will monitor my statement a bit more closely now...

I just checked my Discover Card. No additional Target charges beyond my 3 - $270 gift card purchase on the 4th.
Weird?

I purchased three $300 gift cards using the same discover card. I was charged $270 three times. How many gift cards did you buy and for what amount was each one?

$9 would make sense for the price of a $10 gc and $45 for $50 and $90 for $100 with the 10% off.

ahhh!! That must be it then!! I purchased a gift card online in different denominations. They must've not charged that to my card until the next day. Thanks !! I was so confused and expecting to just see one $270 charge for that purchase.

Yes, Target charges as it ships an item so each shipment is charged separately. I bought one online and ordered a small item at the same time, so my pending charge was $273.16 but when they actually shipped the item and emailed the GC I had two charges, 270 and 3.16.
