OK. I am still new to the boards and you may all think that I am pretty crazy after this. However, I had something run across my mind just now and I thought I would ask if anyone else has thought it. Again, I must start by saying that I am from Louisiana but my family has been in Venezuela for 9 months now for my husband's work. (We get to go home in a month after our WDW trip. YEAH!
) That means that all the American news that I get is on the web (Foxnews.com, CNN.com or Yahoo news). We only get CNN International on TV here which does minimal coverage of the American news. I remember reading a few weeks ago on the Fox news site that a guard was missing from Guantanamo. Many had searched for him but couldn't find him. That article stayed up on the site for about a week or so and then I never read anymore about it. I also haven't heard a thing about it on the news. Well, just about that time the sniper shootings started. I know that it is totally far-fetched, but I can't help but wonder if this could be linked. Surely if he guarded the prisoners there he was trained in shooting; he had the military experience. Has anyone heard if they ever found this guy? Has the news in America mentioned anymore about it? I haven't heard or read a thing online here! Has anyone else thought about this possible connection or am I just crazy.
