Question about The Sims

I have a question about The Sims. I've had the regular version of Sims and i just got the House Party expansion pack and also Livin' Large. Do I install both or can i just install one? Also, once installed which disk do i use? the regular or the expansion pack?

Install both, and it should run using the house party disk.

So i already have The Sims installed, I just need to install both the livin large and house party extension packs and then play the game using only the house party one?

I have the SIMS Deluxe Edition which comes with Livin Large and bought the Vacation Expansion pack. My game requires me to use the original game CD1 to play the game. My sister has the regular version of sims with the vacation & hot date expansion packs and she just used whichever expansion pack cd that was last installed. As long as the expansion packs are bought separately, you can install as many or as little as you want.

I have the Sim Deluxe and bought the Superstar expansion ... when I first installed the expansion I put in the deluxe to load the game ... it would not load ... so I figured the superstar disc is the one I need to use ... so if you use the wrong one nothing bad would happen anyway
