Question about the Signature Dining

We are doing the Deluxe Dining plan and are planning to do CRT, HDDR and Spirit of Aloha. I read that you need a credit card to book these. Do they charge your credit card? I thought you could use 2 TS credits for these places. Can anyone tell me how this will work.

In my experience they charged my credit card and then refunded it when I got there and had my dining plan credits .

In December we did CRT with DxDDP. They asked if we were on the DDP at the time of the ADR and we said yes. They used the credit card as a hold, but did not charge it. Ditto for Cali Grille.

I had the same experience this past Saturday. They just want a card so you commit to either 1) showing up for your ressie or 2) cancel within the allowed time frame without a penalty.
