Question about the future of the 7 day pass

We have a vacation planned for Aug 09. We will need at least 6 days on the tickets. We don't need the water park option.

I am partially concerned with the expected ever rising cost of the tickets, but more than that, my biggest fear is that the ticket option will be for less than the current 7 days pass offered.

I don't remember what was offered the previous years (I seem to remember a 5 day pass on my last visit), but was wondering what everyone thought might happen to the future of the tickets (number of days on a pass) as the time gets closer to spring and the opening of the new coaster.

Well, I will say that they have had this promotion for the past two years (trip in May 07 and May 08 they had the same ticket, but price has gone up drastically). Originally in my May '07 trip, we paid I believe $80.99 + tax for the 2park 7 day "special". In the May '08 trip we paid I believe $85.99. Now I see it is up to around $95?

in years pass, they have had a 3 day 2 park pass for the price of a one day
then it was a 5 day 2 park pass that was sold for about 3 years and this year they came out with the 7 day promo multiday pass.



i have never seen a 7 day pass until this year.
have been going since 1993 annually.


prices go up, rarely do they drop.

it is not impossible for uo to drop prices for a brief time but with parry hotter coming to town in '10, many are buying up the 7 day multiday passes to use in the future.

supply and demand is happening...........

even if this promo would hit $100, it still is a great deal. you save money anyway you look at it even if you only use it a couple of times.
