Question about the food saver system

Ok, I found out my machine wasn't working right.. it was sealing fine, but the vacuum part was not working.. that's why nothing ever got compressed.

I returned it, got another one, and it works perfect,

So far, I've re-sealed cheese bags, divided and sealed pork chops, chicken, and cubed steak, and have even resealed chips bags (but stopping early to avoid crushing).

Think I'm gonna love this thing, lol!
