Question about the Dolphin...

Is it true that the Swan and Dolphin have their own bus system, and if so, how does it compare to the "real Disney" buses? Thanks in advance!

nope, same Disney bus. Sometimes it took awhile because they went to Yacht and Beach. They do have boat transportation to Epcot and MGM which was nice.

We were there over Christmas No problems with busses but they do go to other resorts Great pool and great beds but no real disney touch

The buses don't always go to other resorts. I think it's based on occupancy, but, at times the SD have dedicated buses At other times, they may share a bus with the Boardwalk and/or YC/BC.

They're on the disney bus system. Great beds!!! Nothing beats them after a long day park touring!!!

You only need a bus to get to the MK, AK, and DTD or the waterparks. For access to Epcot and MGM, you'll want to hop on the dedicated friendship boats which cruise from the convenient covered DOCK between the Swan/Dolphin walkway!
These boats are wonderful, fast (MGM is Direct to/from the park), and very comfy. It's one of the best features of the Epcot resorts area. You may also walk to/from these parks.
