Question about the dining plan

Hi - I'm going back to Disney at the end of Septemeber with my mom, my aunt and my boyfriend. We booked two rooms and have the dining plan and while we will spend much of our time all together, there will be times we will not want to all eat at the same restaurant or at the same time. I wasn't concerned until someone just told me that the meals for the meal plan are all put on the lead roomholder's keycard so in our case I will always need my boyfriend with me if I want to eat and my aunt will need my mom? Is this true or is that just for children?

Also, my boyfriend hasn't been to Disney in 22 years (can you imagine?) - he wants to go to some of the character dining meals, does anyone have any suggestions? We were thinking of the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway and a lunch or dinner at the Crystal Palace to see Pooh.

Thanks for your help.

You can all have the dining on your cards, its all computerized so it will stay updated with each room members purchases. My dh and I both had dining priviledges on our cards but dd4 did not have charging priviledges, it is your option at check in who has charging priviledges. Good Luck have a great trip.
