Question about the clothing brands "Carhartt" and "Dickies"

I heard Carhartts use to be made in America and then a few years ago some of the work was sent overseas.

Everyone wears the stuff where I live even little babies. And you should see how dang cute a baby wearing Carharrt bib overalls looks! Cute cute cute. LOL

Oh and we see less of these brands as we get further from home.......say about 150 miles or so and you don't see as many people wearing the stuff.
It's every day wear as well as work and hunting gear.

I agree, babies in Carharrts so darn cute!

People commonly wear both outside of work situations where I live, but I live in a rural area. People also wear a lot of baseball hats and drive lifted pickups. haha...

"In town" Dickies are pretty common still, but not so much the Carhartts. I agree with hambirg that *some* of the teenagers wearing them (Dickies) are gang associated. My son in law wears them, though, and he's not a gang banger.

Man, I'm really surprised! Yes, Carhartt is popular with young men, especially in construction. But, I was being nice before when I called Dickies edgy. It's straight up gansta wear! Is it just a west coast thing? Nobody else associates Dickies with street gangs?

I wanted to buy a Carhartt coat last week in a Carhartt Shop in Frankfurt, but it was 199 EUR, thats 280 $.

I work in an inner city school. Dickies is the uniform of the "gangs"..

Carthartt is worn also, but not as "gangy". I'm not on the West coast, but the East coast.

I have two pairs of Dickies khaki shorts I'd sell ya. The material is so stiff, heavy and scratchy! I got them as part of a uniform. However my Carhartt suit is awesome. It's one of those full body blizzard-proof suits. LOVE it.

If you want that shop I was talking about earlier has a website. You can always contact them and see if they'd be willing to ship to you. Their stuff isn't nearly that expensive!
