I just booked a room only reservation for the WL May 29th, 2007, with a AAA rate and they quoted $261.00 a night w/out tax. When I received my e-mail confirmation it comes up to $321.75 a night or $965.25 for three nights. Is tax really around 23%? It doesn't really matter, I just thought that was a little high.

the tax rate is 12.5% for the resorts, 13% for all stars.

without doing a lot of research, i suspect you were quoted an AAA discounted price which isn't being applied here?

is this a woods view? the regular season rate is $290 a night pre-tax. with the AAA discount, that would be... $261, or 293.63 with tax.

but even rack rate of 290 is 326.25 night.

so either i'm wrong on the tax or i'm missing something.

Do you have an extra person staying with you? When I added in the $25 surcharge for a third adult I got what they quoted you.
