If we go to a restaurant for dinner and my 13 yo son chooses to have 2 appetizers (paid for oop) instead of an entree would that mean that we would still have his table service credit for a later time. We are on the dining plan and not sure if we all have to use a credit when dining together.

Thanks

That's pretty much what we did in December. DS was 10 at the time so a "Disney Adult" that wanted to eat of the kids menu  . We paid OOP for him for kid meals and used his adult TS credits later in the trip. The only time this doesn't work is for buffets & family style meals.

We were able to do that sort of thing the last couple of trips, and are counting on doing it again. My son is now an "adult" for dining purposes (10) but will be more interested in some of the appetizers than entrees, so we'll just use his credits for an extra TS and pay out of pocket for him.
