Question about switching rooms

I know that if you're switching resorts, bell services will move your luggage/refrigerated/frozen items, but do they do that if you're just switching rooms, from let's say BWVs PV to BWV BV?

I'm also guessing that if they do, you have to check out and check in again, and switch keys.

What about laptops? Do they have a safe that you can store your laptop in? I can't imagine taking it to the pool, let along trekking it to the parks while they switch your rooms.

My last visit I switched rooms several times. You must check out of your old room and check into your new room. Yes, even if it is in the same resort. If you have the dinning plan, this will also be applied separately to each room. You must check out by 11am and cannot check into your new room until 4pm. You need to call bell services when you are ready to leave and they will take your bags and store them at bell services. They do have a refrigerator at bell services to store any items needing refrigerator. Just let bell services know what needs refrigerated. After you are allowed into your new room, you call bell services and they will bring your luggage to your new room. These areas are secure and have never had any items go "missing". Safe to keep you laptop there. Just be sure it is safely packed in one of your bags. Down side to switching rooms is that you have no room and no luggage from when you check out until you are allowed to check into your new room. If you check out in morning and are going to the pool in afternoon, be sure you keep your bathing suits with so you can change into them at the pool. All disney pools have an area where you can change your clothes if you need to. Hope this helped.
