How often do their rates go up and down?

I should have booked last week... the flight we want was $69 per person each way. This week it's back up to $89, costing us $160 extra. I'm kicking myself for not booking them last week. There is only one non-stop flight fron IND to MCO, and I'm worried that it will fill up if I wait too long to book it. But I'm wondering if and when the price might go back down. We have no use for a credit to be used for a later vacation if we book at $89 and the price drops. We aren't going to be flying anywhere else for probably 3 years, as it's pretty much set in stone that we're not traveling again until we go to Hawaii in 2013.

We leave May 7. How long should I wait to see if the prices go back down?

All I can say is if you ever see a rate you're comfortable with, buy them. If it goes down, so be it. You can get the credit and if you get the chance or know anyone else flying, let them use the credit. If not, dont sweat it. Hindsight is 20/20 but if I ever see a flight for less then $80 from CMH to MCO for when I need it, I'm all over it. I would be tickled if we get that price for our Oct trip when they open.

We're in the EXACT same position. The flights are $89.00 now, and I'm struggling to decide to book them anyway.

To be honest, we WILL be taking another trip within the next year, so I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and do it, but I would book at that price and see if you can "sell" the credits. I'm sure someone on the DIS would be happy to take them off your hands.
