Question about strollers and Disney transportation

I will be bringing my own double stroller (tandem kind) and even though we will be renting a car, I was thinking of taking Disney transportation from our resort Old Key West to Magic Kingdom. I have the Unofficial Guide and it seems that parking a car and taking the monorail or ferry to the entrance will be more time consuming than taking the bus. However I'm not sure if I can bring my stroller on the Disney bus. Can you fold them and stow them underneath in a luggage hold area? Or can you not bring them at all? Because it's a double it's still pretty bulky even when folded.

Thanks for any feedback. I'm trying to make this trip go as smoothly as possible.:scratchin

you can fold them and bring them on the bus, but they don't go in a luggage area, you have to bring them on the main part of the bus. If you have a hire car then it's probably easier to drive everywhere except MK. For MK I would still take the bus, but at busy times you may find the stroller is a bit cumbersome, but you won't be the only person on board with one

I agree, driving to most of the parks is easy except MK where you have to go to TTC and take the boat, or monorial to MK. In this case I also find it easier to grab a bus. You will bring your stroller on the bus with you. Its best to have everything out of the stroller, including kids and bags and have it folded and ready to board.
