I am thinking of taking my son and I , but having my son go in place of someone who can't attend.

So my questions:
Do I just sign up my son and then let the sponser fill out the RSP and when we pick up the RSP items/give aways/pins won with games, I just send them to the sponsor? Or does the sponsor have to have their name on the things and my son has to 'be' them?

Do you you usually get payment ahead of time for the RSP items, or do they pay you after you have them in your hand (and you have paid for them with your own money)

I have only done this once and so I am not an expert by any means and I know there are a lot of variations but here is what we did:

The person I sponsored registered in their own name. I got all the freebies and the rsp. I paid them the cost of registration.

Then, after the rsp came back with the pins I won, I sent money for the total cost. I would have needed to add shipping but I was able to get them a different way. I had to send the money at the time the bill for the pins was due.

Hope this helps.

Disney wants whomever is attending to be the person registered. The way i've done it is to give the person I'm sponsoring the money to register. They'll send me the RSP (or I'll download it) and fill it out with their name on it. When it comes back, they'll let me know total and I'll pay for pins. I'll get the gifts that are given out, and I'll pay for the shipping to get it all to me.
