I keep seeing in various places that this is a good way to save $$; of course that's great but I'm wondering if it's something that the servers at sit-down restaurants are used to, or if this is only for counter service.....I'm close to 7m pregnant and while I eat all the time, I can't eat a lot at any one sitting (heartburn issues), so I was thinking I might be able to do this for some dinners/lunches (eating off DH's and DD's plates and just ordering something small/a side for myself), but I don't want to be looked at as if I have two heads.....
