Question about Spirit Airlines

Has anyone ever flown using this Airline? They have really good deals from Detroit to Orlando, and I was wondering of other ppls experiences with them before I book at the end of the year. TIA !!

We flew from Baltimore to Detroit last year to see the Eagles vs Lions NFL game.
We had a great time. We paid an extra $25 to be in first class. Big wide leather seats and all you could drink!
I would use them again...

We flew round trip for $116.00 than added the $25 to upgrade (worth it for me.) I am a large person.

I fly Spirit twice a year. Both from Atlantic City to Florida. I have never once had a problem with them except for one time my DD's Pooh Suitcase got the zipper ripped. They came to my house, picked it up...repaired it and returned it
They always have really great deals too! Last October we flew from AC to Orlando for $39 each way! I'd use them every time! Sign up for their Syber Specials online & they'll send you emails.

We have flown Spirit 8 or 9 times and have never had a problem or a complaint. We love to fly Spirit out of Atlantic City to Orlando. Its one of the best kept secrets around here: low fares and non-stop direct flight from a nice clean airport.

We flew Spirit from Detroit to Orlando last year and were very pleased with their service. They also have one of the best "on time" records of all the airlines. I'd use them again. I also get the emails so I can catch the specials.

We fly with them for all of our Orlando trips--we've always been very happy. They have self check-in in Orlando which was so convenient, and they've always been reasonably on time.

I've used them three times to New York and will be using them next month to Chicago. I've never had any problems with them. Also, I recently found out about a sale and was able to get two already booked trips reduced by $80.03 (total) which can be used as a credit against my next reservation with them.

We've often flown Spirit from DTW to MCO. The first time was before the McNamara Terminal opened and they had to use Northwest's gates. Every single flight in our terminal had gate changes, and all the flights were late. It was a nightmare.

We gave them another chance the following year (once they had their own gates) and it was a great experience. We've used them several times since then and had no problems.

That being said, the last couple of times we've gotten good deals on Northwest, and with being able to accumulate Frequent Flier miles, it was a better way to go for us.

We are also flying Spirit on Friday from AC! The flight is very short. Once the plane levels off after take off, they start coming around with the drink cart. Then, right after they collect the cups it is almost time to land. I would save the extra $75 and use it for a nice meal at WDW. However, if money is no object...I would splurge and sit in the comfy leather seats.

We're flying Spirit from DTW to MCO in July for $133 RT. We're from Cleveland, but it was worth the 3 hour trip to save the $$$ (plus my inlaws live in Toledo and they are going to dog sit for us!! ). The prices out of Cleveland and Akron/Canton were about $100 more.

I flew Spirit nonstop from DTW to MCO a couple years ago. All went smoothly and I would gladly fly with them again. (However, I REALLY wish they flew out of Flint!!)

We will be flying DTW-MCO also. We are driving from the kalamazoo area for the deal! I hope we are too pleased with our experience with them this fall. We got 2 first class tickets for $633. Such a great deal, Like I said I hope wee too have great things to say for our Nov. trip!

hate leaving out of newark..so crazy lately
and as much as I like jetblue such a long drive to jfk for me.

why won't jetblue come to NJ...we should petition

I've flown Spirit out of AC. No problems, and great to use that airport when it's usually very quiet, and no hassles.
