Question about Special DL passes

Friends of ours went to DL last April. They met a family of 4 there who had some kind of special passes that allowed them to jump to the front of every line (not fastpasses). Anyone heard of such a thing? I can't find anything on Disney's website about this. Maybe some kind of VIP passes? They made some comment that they had paid quite a premium for them but it was worth it. :wizard:

We just got back from DL and I have never seen or heard of a pass like the one you are refering to. We always get a Guest Assistance Pass because my DD is in a wheelchair, but this doesn't bump you to the front of the line; it allows you to use alternate entrances when the wheelchair isn't able to fit through the regular line.
I hope someone has an answer!

I have never seen or heard of DL selling these passes. I know that at times if you are on a ride or in line for a ride and almost through the line, and the ride breaks down, you may be given front of the line passes. There are other reasons why you may also be given front of the line passes, but to my knowledge these aren't sold, and in general they are for one or two rides, not all day.

I could think of special situations where an all day pass would be given, but again it would be more of a goodwill guesture than something that was paid for. I would guess they were not optained legally through DL (meaning someone got a hold of these types of passes and then sold them, that they weren't bought directly through disney)
