I know you need to earn 16 credits to get a free flight ~ we already have 6 credits earned and hopefully with DH traveling for work, we can earn enough to get a free ticket!!

My question is, do you earn credits for each roundtrip ticket you purchase ~ ie:if Dh and I fly together does that count as 4 credits? (2 roundtrip tickets even though one will be in my name but purchased together) TIA

bummer....so when I go to purchase our tickets for August (just Dh and I flying), I will need to purchase only DH's ticket through his RR account, then purchase a separate ticket for myself through my RR account? What about if we are flying with children ~ their tickets do not count towards RR credits?

Sorry ~ I've never flown Southwest before usually Delta or AA and then we purchase the total number of tickets we need all together.

When you purchase the tickets there is a space to put in your RR number. You just put it in next to your name to get credit for your trip. For kids you can either get them an RR account or just not put in the RR number and you should be fine.

You purchase your tickets on Southwest all together, just like you would on American or Delta. There's a place to put in the RR number for each passenger when you enter their personal information. A RR number can only be used once though on each transaction (just like on other airlines). No need to do separate transactions for each ticket.
