Question about something I read a few months ago on the Express Monorail

I remember a few months ago on another site that the Express Monorail at the Magic Kingdom would not take guests back to the TTC in the afternoon, so those guests wanting to go there would have to take the Resort Monorail & get off at the TTC after it has stoped at the Contemporary. Because I don't remember the whole story can someone please refresh my memory about this & if I am correct about what I had said, why would WDW do this? The Express Monorail drops guests off at the Magic Kingdom, so why for a few hours could it not take them back to the TTC since it goes back there when leaving the Magic Kingdom Monorail station.

At the time you heard this, the platforms were under construction. The new air-gates were being installed. As such, the Express Monorail was one-way only because it only had one side to work with.

So it would be inbound only until mid afternoon, when it would switch to outbound only. The resort monorail and ferry boats would take guests going in the opposite direction.

It should be noted that during park opening, and during park closing, when the traffic flow is extreme, the Express will be taking guests one way, to help save time on loading.
