question about SOG ticket sales and DDE

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. We are headed to Disney on September 14th. My aunt and uncle will be traveling with us, and they are a military family. We want to get Florida resident Season passes. My question is, do military bases sell Florida resident passes? If so, we could get one here in our hometown. If not, will SOG mail a voucher for a Florida resident season pass? I want to buy the DDE card, but can't do it without an AP, and I want to get the discount on the AP. If I have to pay the regular price for one season pass, I will, just to get the discount, as it's only about a 10 dollar difference, but I wondered if there was a way to do it without having to.

Maybe you should call Sog and ask. I don't think they will mail it though because of the proof of residence that needs to be provided.

We called SOG last week with that question and were told that they could not sell any tickets over the phone, only in person. So we paid for one AP thru Disney, recieved the voucher yesterday and called DDE, paid the 50$ and they are going to mail us a letter and have temporary cards waiting for us at Guest Relations. HTH

Check with you Ticket & Tours office on base locally. OUr base here can order them at a discounted price. It would be worth checking into.

Definately call Information, Tickets, and Tours. The bases in Florida may have a better selection of tickets/passes than other bases have. I wouldn't be surprised though if they don't sell the Florida APs. Our base here in Ohio only sells the MYW tickets that expire, and they can't (or won't) order anything else for you.

On the SoG site, they do not sell the Florida AP, but do sell APs at discounted prices. It may be that they do not advertise the Florida APs though. And like a pp said, SoG will not sell the tickets other than when you are standing in front of them with your ID in hand.
