Question about smoking and security

I am going to be traveling with my SIL, who is a smoker. She knows she has to go outside of security to smoke, but can she have her supplies with her going through security? Like, she won't have to go all the way back to the room to get a cigarette, will she? Any tips for her from smokers that frequent the park?

Yes. This weekend when I went, I was behind a lady in security who had cigarettes and a lighter. I think they just tell you to not smoke. But I know for sure no juul (am I allowed to type this on here? lol) ...my friend's sister tried bringing hers and they made her toss it.

judging by the number of people I saw smoking in CA during the food and wine event, I would say they definitely let you bring it in!
