If I took a sling bag on the plane instead of my purse, would that count as my purse, or would I have to count it as my carry-on??

Thanks!

Jen

yes- I do this all the time...
I carry a back pack or my computer bag with all my stuff instead of a purse.

and then I usually have a rolling bag that I bring too...

Never had a problem with those.

My sling bag (a pretty good-sized one) counted as my "personal item", not my carry-on luggage.

This is nice to know....I might be making a change. I have a small one that I was going to use to carry in the parks. I might just use that as my purse on the plane if it is allowed.
