Question about Sleeper Sofas

Hi there,

We are considering renting points to stay DVC - but was wondering how comfortable are the sleepers?

There are 4 of us - but my 2 sons are 15 and 20 - so really it would be 2 adults on the sleeper.

I know that traditionally sleepers are AWFUL - but once in a while they're not that bad (IF they have innerspring mattresses.. my folks have one of these and it's really pretty ok...)

I figured you folks would be the ones to know!

I have two sons who are 15 (6'2") and 11 and they are too big to share the sleeper sofa together. We purchased an aero bed and it is a big hit with them. Now one sleeps on the sleeper and one on the aero.

We do have an inflatable bed - hadn't thought of that.

Is there a reasonably good place to put it up inflated?

We used a queen-sized aerobed at BWV in a 1-BR (my kids are only 8 & 6 and already can't sleep together - my son is a bed hog).
We put it in the living room right next to the balcony doors toward the TV. We moved the big chair to the other side of the room. During the day, we just propped the bed up against the wall.

We have 6 adults going to BCV in a dedicated 2 br with 2 queens. My son and his friend will be in the Living room with the sleeper sofa. One will be on the bed and one on the floor (I ws going to get an aerobed). Is it possible to request a cot from Disney instead? The twin aero will just be extra weight in our luggage.

Also, if we do have to bring the aero, is the LR big enough to fit a twin and an opened sofa bed?

You can not get a cot in a DVC unit. If you move the chair in the LR like the above poster suggested the aero bed will fit in the LR. Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks BWVDee. One last question, do they supply sheets for the sofa bed in the living room? I did not see it listed on the amenities list on DVC site.

Yes the bed is made up for you when you get there. Just pull it out and hop in.
