Thanks for the replies, and especially to Tessa for the info about focusing on the edges.

I've found for me that looking at the "dash" of the ride vehicle works really well, especially if I am the back seat. On spider man, If I am up front I will focus on the end off the "hood" of the ride vehicle. You just have to find the right spot for you.

Also the "regular" OTC meds make me drowsy. I take a natural/homeopathic by Hylands and it works wonders

But not if you plan to drink alcohol, trust me the two do not mix.
