I hope this doesn't sound silly but I've really wondered about it for quite some time. This morning I was reading about the cheapest you've ever went to Disney. One of the replies was about sharing a meal which then prompted me to finally post about it.
OK, so my question is how do you do it and do the CM ever look at you funny?
For example, let's say I'm at Mama Melrose's in MGM's and the server seats us both with menus. DH and I decide that we want the Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan over spaghetti rigati pasta for $15.99 and because (for whatever reason: where full and don't want alot or it's a big portion that we both won't be able to eat all of it) we decide that we'd like to share it. How would we ask for just one plate of it to share?
When the server comes to your table and says, "Have you decided what you'd like to order?"
What would we say, "Yes, we'll have a plate of the Oven Baked Chicken Parm. over spaghetti. That's it. Oh and could you bring an extra plate back with you? We'll be splitting it." ?
I would love to try it sometime because I am all about saving money. I've heard of people doing it all the time w/ the meal vouchers. ~ I've never tried the meal vouchers because I guess I don't understand those fully yet either~ but I'm a bit nervous because I don't know how it would play out and I am afraid that I would be embarrased if the server looked at us like we were crazy or if they made a fuss about not sharing plates.
I hope this didn't sound like a stupid question and I hope someone can help me w/ this.
TIA

That's usually my incentive for sharing!
Sometimes I think Dsis's and I are the only ones from the small wonder.
