Question about Sept closing times at mk

So we hope to be in WDW first week in Sept. I see that MK closed at 7 a few nights in that first week, however MNSSHP is not scheduled to start until Sept 15. Do they sometimes add earlier days?
I think Sept 1 is way early for Halloween BUT if we are there and its offered we would go. Any insight on this?

The MK will be closing early on September 11 & 12 for a hard ticket event, Night of Joy.

i am hoping and praying they decide to add party dates for either Sept 4th or 8th.

I read somewhere that disney is looking for someone to host private events those first days in sept. If they can't fill then they will either add a party or extend the hours.
