Question about safes in the rooms at ASMO

We are staying at the ASMo and my husband wants to know use of the safe in the room is free. He says that he has stayed in hotels that have them in the room but you have to pay to get the key to use them. I told him I did not think this was the case but would check. Anybody use the safe??

Yep - they're small - but free. I'd equate it to about the size of Webster's Collegiate dictionary. Anyone else?

yep they are free, and small- but they held all our paper work-train tickets, etc. plus trav. checks, and 2 wallets,watch and a few small items. they are not to bad .

i'd say it was almost the size of a laptop but not quite and yes they are free.
