We have already got a room at pop for June. When it got closer to the time I was going to pre order tickets from Disney. Do they still use room keys as tickets to the parks or will it be separate. Thanks

When we bought a package from Disney in Feb., we had our tickets in our key card. Handy! :Pinkbounc

If you are preordering them they will be seperate.

Bumping! I want to know the answer to this too!

Also, how can I purchase my tix in advance (to get the better price) AND use my room key as the ticket?

I don't believe it can be, sorry. You either have to buy the tickets at check-in at the resort, or buy a package.

I prefer the room key and the park passes to be seperate cards. I'm currently stuck with 15 card keys from a previous visit when they issued multiple keys to us (transfer of rooms / locks not operating). One of these 15 has the remainder of my son's days and plus options on it. I'm fairly sure I have weeded out the correct one, but for safety sake I'm holding onto the other 14 in case I got the wrong one.

For the rest of us it was obvious which cards were our passes as we had purchased them from the Disney store.

We just got back from our WDW trip. There were four of us. We had two of our MYW tickets purchased through Disney which the CRO (through our TA) linked up with our room only reservation. The other two MYW tickets were ones that we received as rewards as part of a product loyalty program (Air Miles).

In the case of the purchased tickets, they were already linked up to our room keys at check in. For the tickets that we got through the Air Miles program, the CMs at the guest services counter at the resort (the Poly) were able to put them on the room keys for us. When we moved to AKL later in the week, they were able to transfer the unused portion of the tickets to our new AKL room keys. Very convenient!

We got our room with disney with a pin email. I was looking at disney online for prices and it said by purchasing tickets in advance we would save $31. So if I order them now does it become like a package?

Good to know. I know that in the past if you had bought PH's in advance they were not able to add them to your room key.

Last June we booked a room only at the Poly through CRO, as the time got closer we bought tickets in advance through CRO, when we got there the tickets were put directly on our room key. We didn't get a package and we were able to take advantage of this.
