Question about ROFR.

Does anyone have stats on what the PP Disney was exercising it's ROFR for OKW or BWV in 2002ish?

I'm trying to get and idea of how well DVC holds its value over time.

People who purchased OKW in the early to mid 1990s can sell for more than they paid originally. The same is true of BWV, as well. That being said, DVC could simply stop exercising ROFR at anytime. Do not buy with the intention that DVC will or will not hold their value as an investment.

Compared to the vast majority of other timeshares, though, DVC is a leader in value retention, certainly due at least in part, to ROFR.

But like all timeshares, the true value is in your USE of the timeshare. In other words, if you don't ever sell it, it is still a value to you over staying in a regular Disney deluxe room.
