My question is this. I will be arriving Sun, and I thought that would be a good night to just take it easy not visit any parks. I bought a 7 day hopper for my family. If you are just going to eat at a Restaurant, like Liberty Tavern, Rainforest, ect... NOT counter service would they consider you using your ticket for that day? Does this make any sense? In other words, if I eat at RAinforest at AK on Sunday, then on Monday do I have only 6 days left on my park hopper?

Thanks a bunch guys

You don't have to enter AK to eat at Rainforest. It has a separate entrance. Any restaurants actually IN a park, though, your ticket would be charged.

all themepark restaurants counter service, table service, buffet, etc. requires entrance to the park, so you would have to use your park tickets to enter, so that would count againest your days.

however *there is one exception which is the animal kingdom rainforest cafe that can be accessed from outside the park.

your overall best bet for meals on a nondisney park day is downtown disney or a disney resort restaurant.

RFC at Animal Kingdom would be a good choice so you dont have to use a day on your hopper. Some other good places to eat would be Chef Mickeys at CR to get you into the Disney spirit and Ohana at the Poly is a favorite of ours. They have coconut races for the kids, hula hooping and learning a Hawaiian dance. Also if check out the MK sch you could make your ps a little before Wishes and you can watch Wishes while you eat.
