Question about resort pools-pool hours

Hi again everyone! I have another question....DH and I are staying at the Poly in April, 2008. I noticed that the pool hours in regular to high season are until 12am (I think that's correct). Anyways, I read on a different website that the hours posted are the hours that the lifeguard is present. But, it doesn't mean that you can't swim before or after these hours. Is this true? So, DH and I could go swimming at 1am if we wanted??

Some pools, like at YC/BC - Stormalong Bay - do close and you aren't suppose to swim in them. In that case there are Quiet pools that are available - most are open whenever - as long as you aren't disturbing other guests past 10pm.

I believe at the Poly that they will shut down the slide so you won't be able to use it but you can swim in the main pool.

I know at POR the quiet pools had signs that said they closed at midnight... I think the lifeguard went off duty around 10 at the main pool and they shut down the slide than.

I've gone swimming late night plenty of times at the Poly and CR. As long as your quiet and not disturbing anyone you should be fine. As others have said they do shut the slides down though.

The one time my parents and I had a Tower Bay Lake view room at the Contemporary, almost every night I looked out and saw guests swimming past 1:00 AM.
