princess: Do you have to make a reservation in advance, or can you just walk into a resort and hope they have an empty room?princess:

I would *highly* recommend making your reservations in advance.

You do not HAVE to have a reservation. I don't think Disney would turn down any money you wanted to give them. But if you don't make a reservation, they may not have any availability and you will be paying rack rate. If you make the reservation ahead of time, you will most likely find some kind of code that will get you a discount.

For room only reservations, only one night's rate is required at the time the reservation is made. The balance is due at check-in.

You may not be able to stay at the resort of your choice... you might have to take what was available and at rack rate which can vary greatly depending on the season. I think it would be pretty scary for me to just arrive and not know exactly where I'd be staying. Of course I love to plan, and started planning this next trip on the way home from the last one. :teeth:
