Question about reservations?

Does anyone know how many reservations Disney allows per time slot? If all reservations are booked solid, do they not take any walk ins? We messed up by not booking Le Cellier a couple of weeks ago when our 180+ window opened. Now there is nothing available for lunch on our Epcot day. Is there any chance of us getting lucky and being able to eat when we get there? Thanks!

They generally don't take walk-ins, although there are some people that have had luck by going right when they open. I tried that when I was there on a solo trip in early December and didn't have any luck getting in.

Your best bet is to keep searching for reservations on a regular basis. Cancellations do happen and there's a chance you can snag one.

I agree with the pp. The restaurant is small and they try to keep it full.

Try looking everyday but maybe even more often around the 45 day mark as that is when people have to pay for their trip. Sometimes more things start opening up then.

The number of reservations depends on the size of the restaurant. Le Cellier is small, so it will have less than a large restaurant. It is usually hard to walk in to a restaurant that is booked solid but not impossible. You never know until you ask. There could be no shows or last minute cancellations, and then they can take a walk in. Rather than hoping to walk in, I would only try that in a last ditch effort if I was unable to get a reservation. Go online several times a day. Type in the date you are going and the meal period (not the time). You may get lucky that way. If not, call everyday while on the trip as well.
