Question about reservations made online

I made an online ressie at DisneyWorld.com When I try to view the reservation it tells me that it "cannot be found at this time". I called Disney reservations with my confirmation #. The first CM I spoke to said he couldnt find the reservation. He put me through to guest services who was able to find it. I have visions of us getting there and being told they dont have me in their system. I paid the one night deposit on Sept. 8th when I made the reservation. It has already showed up on my credit card statement. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried? Thanks, Donna
 
Donna, I think that the website often has glitches like that. Glad that CR was able to find it for you though. I had a horror story like that with Travelocity last month. I booked through them for the N. GA mountains, called the hotel direct after that and was laughed at, they told me that they were seriously overbooked , as in I wuld arrive and have no room. :earseek: :earseek: I called Travelocity nd they were really nice, siad that happened sometimes, refunded my CC. THing was I'd have been LIVID if I'd arrived to find that I had no room.
 
When I booked in January, I had trouble using the online payment option. It was unavailable for a few months actually, but I was still able to view my basic reservation information. You may be experiencing a similar system error. As long as a CM can find your reservation in the database, I wouldn't worry. Keep your confirmation # and record of CC payment handy! Anytime I have been charged with something & there is no record of it on the other end, I would be worried. I would call them again just to see if the first CM you talk to can find it. If they can't then I would worry. I have had it where they had me coming in on the wrong date... it was a month later! I ended up getting a room, but it was the worst room they had. It was at CSR, they were booked solid and that was all they had for me. Another time with Universal, they lost my ressies completly! I had to fight to get them back at the rate I had. I noticed that abut a month or so prior to my arrival when I called them to put in a request & was shocked when they said, they no longer had it, someone canceled it. When I asked them who, they had no clue & a supervisor came on and apoligized for the mess up but still wanted me to pay rack rate for the room (which there was no way I was going to do that, when my ressie had been made about 6 months prior). It was one big mess. After those two screw ups, I don't take any chances anymore...
 

after making your reservation did you get a confirmation? keep the confirmation and credit card statement, there should be no problem
 
Oh wow....and wouldnt you know....this reservation is for Coronado Springs.....I am going to call right now and see if the first CM that answers can find it. Thanks for the posts. Everyone is so helpful here. I really appreciate it.
