Question about reservations for the castle

If I am lucky enough to get a reservation when I call......do they charge me for the meals now or just use the credit card to hold and charge if I don't show up?

the credit card holds your reservation... they charge you if a) you don't show up or b) you cancel without enough notice (I believe it should be 48 hours)

The Castle meal is now a pre-paid meal and has been for at least a year.

The only exception is if you are on the dining plan. Then they will still take a CC and keep it on file and only charge it if you do not show up and do not cancel.

Very true! I made all my ADR's the week before free dining came out (in anticipation of booking a package...which I did). But when I booked our lunch for CRT I had to pay for it with a card. I used my debit. After I booked our package a few days later, I called and told them I now had free dining and they credited my debit card back!!!
