Question about Reservation Process...

When you make the reservatin over the phone, does WDW send you information/confirmation by mail?

The CM I spoke with earlier today said that he would email me my Reservation #, but I have yet to receive anything. Is that perhaps because of the high volume???

I DO have a Reservation number he gave me, but thought that it was also going to be emailed to me.

The last two times we booked they said they'd email it and we didn't get anything, although a week or so later I got a confirm in the regular mail. When we booked a trip online recently the email confirm came right away.

If you want to see your ressie while waiting for the email, you can log onto WDW's site, go to the my vacation section and enter the confirm plus your phone number and it'll pull it up for you.

They say it could take up to 24 hours to get the email. It took about 3 hours to get mine. Hope it helps. They do also send you one in the mail too!

Thanks... I was just having a "freak out" moment...like I would travel all the way there w/DH and DD6 and they would say "we don't have you in our system...sorry"

Will they send the Magical Express information automatically as well (once we arrange our flights)??

I have never booked w/WDW directly only through a TA in the past.
