Question about renting points

I already have a ressie for Pop for our Christmas vacation but someone suggested I look into renting points for a villa while we are down there instead. We will be staying Dec 17-26. I tried to use the chart to figure it out but I dont believe my numbers are right. Around how many points would I need to stay during this timeframe for one of the cheaper 1 or 2 bedrooms? thanks!

If by "cheaper" you mean less points, at OKW a 1BR would be 275 points and a 2BR would be 373 points. It is a lot of points because you are planning on staying 3 weekend nights and the 24th and 23rd are very expensive point wise.

A one-bedroom at Old Key West for the nights of 12/17 to 12/25 is 275 points.

DVC has multiple seasons and weekend stays are quite a bit more than weekdays. The nights of Sunday the 18th thru Thursday the 22 are 18 points each. But the other dates in your trip are considerably higher. The night of 12/24, which is both Premier season (the most expensive) and a weekend, is 73 points alone.
