question about renting from a rental business ( I guess)

As a member of Redweek, I can highly recommend it. Great information for timeshares of all sorts..

You just need to make sure you are renting from a DVC member and not an RCI reservation. If they tell you that you will owe $95 at check in, that's an RCI rerent. That's not allowed.

RedWeek is really just a big classified ad board for timeshares and vacation homes. In each case, you are dealing with an individual owner (or, sometimes, a broker that works with several owners).
